Aluminum Cleaner for Aircraft Detailing by Alcoa
There are many choices for aircraft detailing when it comes to aviation uses. One product we like after tying them all out was a product by Alcoa Corporation.
Inside an Aircraft and Its Parts
When most of us think of an aircraft we think of the outside of the plane that has the wings, the windshield, the engines, and propellers? On the inside of a plane most of us think of the cockpit and the main cabin, but all of these places are made up of many different parts
Compensating Airplane Accident Victims and Survivors: A National Responsibility
Are you one of those people who have an inexplicable fright with flying and airplanes? Every one of us has that nervous reaction with the thought of having to ride airplanes and actually be high above the ground.
New Flight Charters Tells Customers, ``Pick Your Private Jet': Jet Charter Clients Get Their Choice of Private Airplane
New Flight Charters, a leader in private jet charter, gives clients their choice of specific aircraft for each flight. The company provides multiple aircraft options and clients choose which specific aircraft they prefer based on comfort, performance and price.
Hawker Beechcraft Registration Statement Declared Effective
Note: This is an amendment to the earlier issued news release.
AirInSpace Plasmer(TM) Technology is Certified to Protect Aircraft Passengers and Crew from Biological Threats Such as SARS and Avian Flu and Other Ai
AirInSpace, a leading supplier of mobile devices that "catch and kill" harmful and resistant biological particles from the air, announced today that its partner, Montreal-based Air Data Inc. (ADI), has been certified by the airworthiness branch of Transport Canada to manufacture and market ADI's JetAir(R) Bio-Protection System (BPS), business jet version. The BPS is based on AirInSpace's patented Plasmer(TM) technology, which also is being used in the International Space Station (ISS), and in hospitals under the brand name HEPA-MD(TM).
Have You Ever Thought About Using Airplane Advertising?
So, how many times have you tried advertising for your company or product in the formal way as all the advertisers do? What real profit do you get from it? Did that advertisement on some website named "you are the 9999th visitor, you won the prize, click here to claim" work? Surely this is not the case. Now all those old techniques of advertising are dying a slow death. Now there is a new dimension in advertising to catch the attention of your customers.
Entering Business Aviation, Part I: Types of Aircraft
The jets that people fly in corporate aviation are usually a lot smaller than those found with the airlines. Exceptions to the rule are Boeing's BBJ and Airbus' Corporate Jet, both of which are based on some of the smaller types of aircraft marketed to the airlines.
New On-Board Aircraft Health Monitoring System Takes Flight on F-15: TRI/Austin, Inc. is Developing a New System That Can Monitor
In 2003, the Army awarded an SBIR Phase II contract for $729,888 to TRI/Austin to develop a diagnostic/prognostic system that could monitor aircraft and rotorcraft structural components in flight. Phase II focused on ruggedizing the system, optimizing performance, reducing power draw, refining the prognostic/diagnostic algorithms and building a system for test. The effort culminated in a successful flight test of the LAHMP system aboard the F-15.

Inflatable Aircraft Wing Camber Modification

Every aircraft is a compromise. It is either built to fly fast or slow to land in tight distances and carry more weight. It is a jet or propeller driven craft. It costs a lot with high tech materials or it is simplistic and has less performance. Aircraft are built for many reasons, each one maybe more or less important for its intended purpose. Some aircraft are made to slightly change in flight to serve a niche or a couple of niches better than comparable type aircraft. As we learn more about our options of materials in aerospace we learn of was to incorporate multiple uses and still maintain safety at low airspeeds and efficiency at high speeds. I propose an inflatable wing camber modification system for modern day fighter aircraft to save on fuel and increase range. By increasing the lift on take off where much fuel is used we can increase the range of fighter aircraft in the battlespace while simultaneously increasing the payloads of smart munitions to kill, annihilate and destroy the enemy to serve our political will. Smile in preemption, it is about winning. The system would be recessed into two-inch deep areas on the wings. Consider the landing speeds of an F-104, consider the ability to decrease the weight of the landing gear and size of tires to increase payloads. Consider the ware and tear and maintenance costs, which would be saved? Consider the slow speed changes in flight characteristic and decreased safety risks in shorter take off and landing rolls. The performance changes would also vastly assist in close air support or carrier landing handling. For UAVs the performance would allow additional time loitering in the battlespace with increased range and slow flight speeds would allow for better imagery to identify targets before eliminating them from this time period.
